I spoke to John(Pig) class of ‘73 at one of the home games this season. He mentioned that his dad(Big Pig)was getting ready to turn 101 and was living at The Pines.

Amen. The lines in the obituary about his snipered friend and his 'penance' are indicative of the humility and fortitude of our men and women of the WWII era. At ease, soldier, you have served your country and the cause of justice, bravely and honorably.
