Missouri State fired their head coach Dana Ford. It was smart for St. Louis to fire Travis at the same time to create confusion and diffuse sympathy.

Bagelcat and I saw Travis play for Kentucky in the 1993 NCAA Tournament and coach Massachusetts against UNCC at Halton in 2005.

He's a good candidate for any upcoming vacancies at Fordham, Duquesne, and La Salle. He knows how to get from the locker room to the bench at every A10 arena. That's more important than you think. Recall the problem Spinal Tap had in Cleveland.

I'm with citycat. I thought there were 4 really poor coaches in the A10. One is gone. Urgo, Dambrot, and Dunphy (who used to be really good, but was right to retire back when he did) have to go.

Ford’s comments in the immediate aftermath sounded like they came from a man who’s in no hurry to find another coaching job.

Vanderbilt is supposedly parting ways with Jerry Stackhouse. St. Louis is interested in Indiana State's coach, but should consider Stackhouse because Vandy will pay him to go away. St. Louis can take some of the money they don't have to pay Stackhouse and divert it to NIL.

Some reassessment of Dambrot may be taking place.

He's awful. And he beat Dayton. Still awful.

Indiana State’s HC was the HC at DII Lincoln Memorial when they were in Queen’s conference and both schools spent 5+ years with multiple trips to the final four.

Lincoln Memorial is near the TN / KY state line and has one of the very few private veterinary schools in the country.

Dan Monson's Long Beach State team just won the Big West Tournament. He's being let go.

He's 62 and wants to keep coaching. Someone should tell Gardner Webb about him.

Long Beach and Boiling Springs are so much alike he might not notice any difference. 😁
