This has to be the worst offensive team at Davidson in the last 20 years no?

So we are losing big, could we maybe try to shake it up, show a pulse, play zone, trap, double team? Something to show you might want to win your last home game? Or are we just going to plod along doing the exact same thing that hasn't worked.

I thought we'd be good enough to stay close and make them work for it. Nope.

Brizzi's occasional outbursts of offensive excellence beg the question, "What if." Even without David, another effective guard to take the pressure off of Grant and Conner would have made such a difference this year.

So if you can't flop for an offensive foul, how do you guard a big man who just keeps pushing closer and closer inside? It is impossible.

Right. Good initial position is insufficient. Gotta be as big and strong as the offensive player. We aren't.

For goodness sakes, double team or do something.

Can't double these guys. They can shoot. And drive.

Sure you can. You are at least taking a chance. Instead we play the same way and die by slow bleed.

The 10 point loss was felt excruciating than the closer games.

True. Different paths to a loss. These athletes aren't beating those athletes without a massive coaching advantage. I think we have a coaching advantage over Loyola, but it is slight.

FYI there is a David Skogman post out there on Instagram that will tear your guts out.
Can you post contents for those of us who don't Instagram?
Maybe some Instagram-savvy person can post it here. He reads a letter from his parents.

Grant and Chris also had letters they read that the twitter account posted.
Thanks!

The portal looms very very large this spring. We clearly need shooters, a new quarterback, and possibly a big who can consistently score down low. Lots of reps in the weight room are an imperative as well.

We only need five or six impact players and two or three starters to contend for the top. Maybe half that to contend for the middle of the pack.
