On to Orlean, New York. Bonnies will be a tough out, but this team is capable of beating any one in the A-10. Go Cats.

Olean, not even a distant relative of Orlean or Orleans.

Not capable of beating Dayton. Beating SBU in Olean would be a huge upset.

The student "turnout" begs the question of whether this schools deserves to have a D1 team, never mind a winning team.

Fortunately the coaches and players won't be deterred, except possibly in the recruiting process.
Other than the pep band and cheerleaders, there were at least a half dozen students at tipoff.

I know a couple who did not renew their season tickets because they were kicked out of the end zone.

Cheerleaders did a good job tonight.

Sean needed to finish through contact.

Brizzi not close on 3 pt shots.
I don't remember the last time Brizzi hit a 3 pt shot.
Doesnt use his legs, all arm and very flat. Might be in his head as well at this point. Similar to Nova, played a good floor game but lost pt due to poor outside shooting. His replacement is shooting over 40% this season.
A game of HORSE between Huffman and Brizzi would take a long time to complete.
That said, I like the way McKillop gets guys playing time experience, next years team might surprise people.

Matt’s patience last year with starting Reed and for much of the season Connor seems to have paid off this season.

I was booted out of my long held end zone seats, and I’m still pissed about it; especially given that both end zone sections were nearly empty tonight. I thought it was a stupid and unjust move when they announced it, and still do.

Out of town so missed the game, but I have a solution to student turnout. I live close to campus. Will volunteer to break into the admissions office and put “basketball fan” in the proper stack.

Attendance tonight was 2268. There weren't 1800 there. Likely to get worse before it gets better. Maybe they'll roll the seat ransom back. I'd be a buyer at $100*. It was comical when the AD listed the high ransoms that Dayton and VCU fans pay. Those are schools that sell out big, nice arenas and have waiting lists. And excellent teams, great pep bands, many more living alumni, etc. It ain't an apples to apples comparison.

*until then, I'll get in for cheap or for free and sit in great seats that the owners can't give away

In the pregame talk, Josh said that La Salle had low stats for rebounding, and our plan was to capitalize on that.

I counted 19 fans in the east end zone at tip off.

Tuned in for the last 4 minutes and of the first half. LaSalle would dribble around and then explore a one-on-one move. The Cats weren’t a lot better, but LaSalle was so hapless that we didn’t need to be.
