Some collective needs to step up. Chain gang needs wftc.

If anyone disagrees with anything I say, I am quite prepared not only to retract it, but also to deny under oath that I ever said it

Just returned from a great reunion weekend. 50th for me and Mephisto. Also had the pleasure of talking to MM15 and WFTC. The new football + facility is spectacular. I don't think I have ever seen the campus as beautiful as it was this weekend.

55 for me, so I got my Avant Garde pin, followed by lunch with stevelee. Our Class of 1969 dinner on Friday night featured classmate Rocky Crosswhite as our speaker.
"We were in the center ring the whole night,'' longtime Davidson coach Bob McKillop said. ''We were not on the ropes. We were not on the mat. We were in the center ring slugging away, and we just ran out of time.''

It was great to see you and Katherine at the luncheon. I enjoyed getting to know your friend Larry, an interesting person and a man of many interests and talents. Bill Ferris’s presentation was amazing.DC69Wildcat wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2024 9:58 pm55 for me, so I got my Avant Garde pin, followed by lunch with stevelee. Enjoyed my conversations with several folks on Saturday. Great to see cat44 and Mephisto. A few surprise folks were Richard Howell(‘94), Eddie Williamson and Dave Bender, both ‘74. I showed Bender a picture he posed for me on the VMI sidelines I took of him as the Big-headed Wildcat on 11/3/73.

Sorry that I missed Mephisto. I'm always glad to see him even briefly after the few basketball games he makes it to. I realize the importance of classmates catching up, though I'll admit to hanging out with the Moores and the Benbows from '69, though I see them in basketball season.
