When will they stop giving an outrageous number of bids to the Mountain West. Ugly start for them. As for this being the year for the SEC . . . Maybe not (oh, and special thanks to Auburn for destroying my bracket).

This article breaks down conference performance well: https://www.sbnation.com/college-basket ... ch-madness

VCU is the last team standing for A10 MBB. Dayton won't have many guys hit the portal. Duquesne will.

Clemson up 7 late vs Arizona. They just showed a picture of the team the last time they went to the Elite 8, 1979-1980. Former Wildcat Chris Dodds was on the front row.

Chris was Clemson's backup point guard. Their starting PG was Bob Conrad, who became a Federal Judge in the Western District of NC.

Do NIL rules allow us to hire PJ Hall to demonstrate to our big men how to finish when you get the ball 4-5 away from the hoop?

Arizona's starters were a sparkling 2-23 beyond the arc, highlighted by an 0-9 night by ex-Hole Caleb Love. Nice to see that he shot his team out of the tournament.

wildforthecats is going to look good in that Alabama shirt. What a pleasant surprise. I'd stopped watching at 17-19, but checked the score a few times afterwards. When I went to bed, the Holes were up 8 at the half. Sounds like Alabama played a strong second half and finished well. Roll Tide!

Haha, a couple of years ago my sister-in-law made a t shirt quilt out of all of the post season Tar Heel loses over the past 25 years. I was thinking just the other week that I should start up again… Roll Tide!!!

In 1976, Alabama eliminated Carolina in a first round game, 79-64. The Heels' starting 5 included 5 future NBA players. Alabama's star in the game was big man Leon Douglas, who was the 4th choice in the 1976 NBA draft.

Douglas abused future Hornet GM Mitch Kupchak. Phil Ford had a terrible game.

Zona starters went 2-23 on 3s. And they got a lot of good looks.
