I loved the references to Peter Sellars' iconic role in one of my favorite movies. But that's just about all I can add to this thread because I've not seen any practices and the red-black game hasn't been played. I feel discombobulated by all the changes to the NCAA rules landscape. Maybe I'll have a better feel for answering some of the questions posed in a few weeks.

I'm with you. I'll take a stab at the list after seeing a practice or scrimmage.

I didn't have my readers on so I don't know if they factored in the quality transfers.

I do not think there was a single Cat on the pre season first or second team.

We've come down then. We started out in the league rated number 12 by most folks (maybe even some here), so we have moved down one after all these years. But then there are more teams in the conference.

My old roommate in response to these questions shared some reactions, knowing that he has not been to a practice or seen anything other than heights and weights and some video of the new guys, and what he has observed of the veterans in the past. I’m sure he wouldn’t want it shared here, but I think what he says makes a lot of sense. He’s looking forward to my takeaways from next Monday night.

I observed to him my impression that in general those who have been to practices tend to be more optimistic than those who haven’t.

If we’re 4 in the A-10 I’ll attempt a back flip.

Eight games into the 18-game A10 schedule, the Cats are in sole possession of 13th.
