Dayton is the automatic qualifier from the best of the one-bid leagues. 11 is a pretty spectacular seed for a one bid conference.

Arkansas is a 10. UNCG is a 13. UNCG beat Arkansas in Fayetteville.

Arkansas will pick up more impressive wins during its conference season, but shouldn't this reflect the result of the games that have been played?

Hofstra is giving it to Duke 37-32. Nelson hasn’t played yet. :)

Yes, he’s watching from Asheville.

The Big East will be fortunate to get more than three bids this year.

With the OOC schedule almost done, Massey has the Big East as his 4th rated conference, well ahead of #5 ACC in Power Rating. I'll bet they get 5 bids.

I had a message from a friend asking if I could take her grandson to a game while he is here from Australia in January, so I told her I could take him to the January 3 game with Dayton. I guess he is a young teen now. I guess I’ll pass on the free beer.

Still a 9 seed for Dayton. Nobody on the bubble. Our best shot for multiple bids is for Dayton to keep winning, earn an at-large, and choke in the A10 tournament.

77 describes the A10's formula to maximize its bids. It worked in 2018 and 2022.

Those plans have changed, so it may be a party of 5 on the 9th (adding the grandma and aunt). The aunt is waiting to hear back from the kid's mom before she buys the 3 extra tickets. It will be a busy few days for me: a party, church choir, women's game, dentist, duplicate bridge, men's game possibly with entourage, flight, women's game at Mason.
