Apparent offer to 6’3 2019 PG Hunter Cattoor

The young man has several offers from mid-major D1 programs. Personally, i think we are head and shoulders above the other schools both on academics and in MBB potential as far as competition and potential for post season play.

Was "Hunter" a popular turn of the century name or are they just over represented among our recruits?

I thought for fraternal twins there could be Hunter and his sister Gatherer.

I got a heads up on a point guard (6-2 or 6-3) who can catch lobs and dunk them with two hands. Has a quality shooting stroke from 3 and scored 5 on the AP tests in English and American History.

Looks like David Roddy just received an offer from Northwestern, his first high major offer. He’s already taken a visit there

edit: just saw this was posted already

Has he made any indication of whether he is looking to play basketball or football in college yet? I thought in the past there were reports he was being recruited for both sports.

JustaCatsFan's list provides more support for RichmondCat's appraisal. However, it would also call into question just how much of a stretch Davidson would be for him, particularly as a 2*.

Depends on which way you measure.

How many times do we have to ask you to stop posting this same tired comment about recruits? If you knew anything about recruiting you’d know (1) ratings are hardly an exact science; (2) guys are always blowing up from nowhere (i.e. as a “2*” guy); and (3) recruits and their families read about their recruitment and don’t like negative comments.
