As Sgt. Schultz might say, "I know NOTHING about exponential growth." All I know about growth is that bigger ain't always better.

2018 6'10 F Riley Battin hosted Utah tonight for an in-home visit. Riley will take his 2nd official visit to Utah this weekend! #WCE #ALLIN

According to Oak Park's Basketball's twitter, Coach McKillop was there yesterday and he impressed with his "true" leadership and basketball mind.

Should be a good team. They have Battin, a 6'11" C with DI offers, a guard who has committed to Dartmouth, and the guard's little brother (who may be better than the big brother).

6-10 Riley Battin of Oak Park is all grown up. Dunking now with authority. Some college is going to get a top player.

I'd say the UCLA and USC basketball coaches need to make a visit to Oak Park to see 6-10 Riley Battin. My suggestion.
Come onnnnn Riley!

Dear Chicken Little,

I don't read much into this at all. Some folks "like" stuff as an acknowledgement that they read something. Mike Maloy15 " likes" stuff all of the time on Twitter, but I know for a fact he likes very few things.

I second this. While I am worried about Utah, it isn't because he's liking fans tweets directed at him. Looks like he liked plenty of Davidson stuff too when he was on a visit here, and we also didn't have a coordinated effort to start tweeting at him like Utah fans (which, for the record, I think is a good thing we didn't do).

Isn't that an NCAA violation, for boosters to contact prospects?

Can we assume that none of those Utah folks qualify as boosters by NCAA definitions?

“I would be a versatile stretch four-man for them,” said Battin on Utah. “I would fit in perfectly. I love the coaching staff and it’s a great opportunity to play at the Pac-12 level.”

According to 247Sports, Battin is ranked as the No. 222 overall player in the Class of 2018 and the No. 22 player from the state of California. As a nationally ranked player, he should be able to get playing time from the start if he were to choose Utah.

“They said I would have the opportunity to compete for playing time right away,” said Battin. “I think I would be able to make an immediate impact.”

“I think I would fit very well in their system,” said Battin on Davidson. “Their offense runs through a versatile point forward which is where I see myself playing at the next level."

When it comes to Davidson, there’s a lot that appeals to Battin, as he said Monday, “I have a great relationship with the staff and I really like their style of play.”
