Knee injuries prevented FBE from being any good but pretty sure Kellan higher regarded prospect
I hope kellan is able to help us land HAnnah or a Lorca Lloyd. We'd be in good spot.
So close to being a top 25 mid major

ESPN's rankings are also among the least reliable outside of the top 30-or-so players, they place a ton of emphasis on kids playing at blue blood programs and not much else.
Used to be ridiculously the case in football. Some recruiting raters were little more than propagandists for their favorite coaches and programs.

ESPN renormed their number rankings a while back. Frank's 90 back then would be a lot less now. They got rid of their "40" rankings- which meant they hadn't evaluated this player.

Riley Battin added offers from Clemson and GW. Also received some love from NBC sports: http://collegebasketball.nbcsports.com/ ... rica-camp/
4. Class of 2018 big man Riley Battin opens eyes with production

Opening eyes with his play at the Under Armour All-America Camp with his overall skill and production was three-star Class of 2018 big man Riley Battin. Shooting 59 percent from the field during the week while finishing near the top in overall camp scoring, the 6-foot-8 Battin is an intriguing player at the next level even if he isn’t the greatest athlete.

With great footwork and good touch on his jumper from all three levels, Battin can knock down three-pointers (42 percent this spring in the UAA) while also scoring in the post or the mid-range. Already taking an official visit to Vanderbilt towards the end of August, Colorado, Davidson, Georgia Tech, Northwestern, Utah and Wichita State are also involved.

Battin is the type of player who won’t get a lot of hype in national recruiting rankings but he could very well be a damaging player in the right system. A tough cover because of some unconventional moves, Battin could be a lot of fun to watch at the next level.

Certainly the highest ranked Davidson player to have a fan award named after him. I doubt if any of the ranking services take into account the possibility of future immortality among the fan base (the FBE Colt 45 award) in their rankings process.

Everything I read about Battin screams what a good fit he would be for DC.

We offered Donatas Kupsas, a 2018 forward out of Lithuania/Long Island Lutheran (hmmmmmmmmmm), per a bunch of sources on twitter. Looks like a power forward but can handle and plays more of a combo forward role.

There's a fair amount of game film out there on him. I was skeptical looking at his other offers but watched some and like his game a lot. True sharpshooter, really long arms for his height, whips ball around the perimeter and makes strong, on target passes. Needs work finishing around the rim but a really elite shooter and potential to be a nice player.
