@DavidsonMBBRecr wrote:Davidson listed as involved for 2019 PG Ryan Greer. Rivals also predicts he will end up at Davidson
From the Rivals article: https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com ... ssociation
Recruitment: Clemson, Davidson, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Middle Tennessee are involved.

His day: Greer is a very poised floor general with a really good feel for the game. He knows when it is time for him to generate his own offense, but he also knows when to set up others. He played a big part in getting Anthony Edwards going, and delivered at least five assists to his big man in the paint.

Prediction: Bob McKillop was on hand watching Greer, and Davidson seems like a perfect fit for the Georgia native.

Greer is going to Northfield-Mt. Herman this fall. Does this mean anything?

If Kellan succeeds here we can theoretically attract other players from the program. Also means academics is less likely to be a problem if we decide we want to offer him.

Usually I would say that losing a kid to Northeastern isn't a big deal because he was probably under what we should be getting anyway (we should be competing with other A10 schools, the Big East, Lower P5 schools, etc). But Murphy seems like he really had his choice of some very quality schools and could've gone to a "more competitive/nationally renowned" school than Northeastern. This isn't to say the CAA is bad but the A10 is just plain better. I don't know what the point of writing this was... Go Cats

And before I get yelled at because Curry was recruited only by Davidson and like Liberty I understand. Honestly if Mckillop is going hard after a kid and lands him early I trust that he has the utmost potential... Also we need more low post grinders who can take pressure off our need to score on the perimeter.
