Nothing to do with Demuth individually, but evaluating talent by offers is a dangerous game since it assumes players at power 5 schools arebetter than every player in smaller conferences, which we know isn't the case.BDL wrote:Also evidenced by his offers he is probably as good as Battin or Tyson.
Since Demuth's first official visit was to Princeton academics seem like an important factor to him, which is always a good thing for us, especially since our other targets opted for schools in bigger conferences with less of what Davidson has to offer.

While we desperately need some size in the 2018 class, just want to note we have little CZ and Michael Jones coming in already, and with Frampton back healthy, we will have a toooooon of shooting on the roster, something we haven't truly excelled at since our at-large bid. We need size, but I expect a lot of small ball (with big guards) in the coming years. We obviously all expect Frampton to be a stud but I want to emphasize how impressed I've been with Michael Jones as a perimeter threat in what I've seen, both are players who teams plan defenses around because of their elite shooting.
I am super excited for this season and having so many seniors and an all-time great in Peyton, but the future is also bright, even if things have not gone our way the past few weeks. TCC

We are getting better guards but to take the next step we need to keep developing wings and forwards, preferably some that play pro. I think that’s one reason why you saw Battin go Utah. Last three years three bigs/wings nba
Peyton is a great start we need one at or above his level for 2.0 and eventually will be rolling in forwards as much as we attract guard interest
