That's probably true since Rain Man is also a weatherman, but it has always been 107+ when I've stopped in Orangeburg.

Agreed. Lived there seven years. It was Hell. Florence also. Both are just far enough from the ocean to negate any temperature moderation. I imagine folks in Statesboro and Valdosta, Georgia have similar complaints...?
