Uh, no. Just clarifying that they've been more successful in the Big Dance than we have from 2009 onward. Just the truth. And they, like I said, aren't good right now. But they are better than we are, at least according to the computer models. Pomeroy has them at 66 and us at 84. Sagarin says 59 and 84. RPI has them at 106 and us at 93.

If we are being honest their is a huge difference from playing in the SOCON and playing in the (old) Big East. As we move on from 2017 though it definitely seems like we are in a much better place and continue to move in an upward trend compared to them. There is a much smaller difference from their conference and the ours (the A10 obviously) now. I would look at the ncaa tournament records in five years from today as a better determinant than since steph.

Riley Battin has now scored over 2000 points in HS- with a year to go.

I expect it will be tough to get him. Tons of P5 schools are now recruiting him. I hope he realizes how our system is geared for someone like him (skilled big man who can make jump shots and bang in the paint) and how much playing time will be available when he's a freshman.

"6'8 '19 Nichols Evtimov (Mt. Tabor) dad played at UNC & uncle at NC State. Wide body + outstanding footwork/hands. Crafty around the rim."

Wonder if we will have any interest?

"Crafty around the rim" harkens back to another Wildcat great who was "Quick around the basket."

Nichols's dad can play Drago if they ever make a sequel of Rocky IV, or whatever.

Watch it! Oskar has 1st dibs.

Edit: "Nicholas Evtimov" gets better Google results than "Nichols Evtimov".

Apologies if this was posted elsewhere. Carter Collins ranked #6 among NC 2017 prospects (VCU-bound Lavar Batts ranked #1).
6.| Carter Collins, 6'1" PG, East Chapel Hill High School, Committed to Davidson: Unfortuantely for Davidson, they are losing an all-american caliber player in PG Jack Gibbs after this season. The good news for the wildcats is that they have a pretty darn good floor general coming in to help make up for lost production. Collins is a wiry, high motored point guard that makes a big impact on both ends of the floor. He is a very crafty scorer around the rim and a pest on defense always trying his best to smother his man and create a turnover.

This venue remains a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma. Posters periodically demand publication of our recruit videos showcasing their dunking prowess. Then Wait posts a link to a terrific Carter Collins alley oop dunk [in the Three Point Thread, go figure :? ], and that WOW performance is completely unacknowledged, even by Wait

What is going on here? We have a new point guard with big time spring in his legs. Good for us, if I say so myself.

Didnt know where to put this but here is a quote from ESPN,
"Quinnipiac willing to pay in the 800K range, sources told ESPN. Names mentioned they are looking at: Bonnies Mark Schmidt, RMU Andy Toole, Albany's Will Brown."

I can't imagine Schmidt leaving the A10 for quinnipiac....

Going from Robert Morris to the Pollsters would be a step up for Toole.

It would be a step down for Schmidt.

I may be wrong, but I don't think we have ever or very seldom have battled the Hoyas for a hoop recruit.
actually, we lost out on a G'town freshman, Jagan Mosley, who was among our top targets a couple of years ago. the other top target was Kevin Huerter, now at Maryland.
