Davidson interest in 5’10 PG Kyrell Luc, freshman transfer from Holy Cross.
5' 10" ? Probably should pass.
Glad we didn’t pass on Foster.

He has no trouble getting above the rim. We have guys a foot taller with fewer dunks on the season that we see in this guy's highlight film.

I love super quick “water bug” PGs.

Remember Courtney Aldridge from UNCG. I thought we were better- except he wouldn’t let us beat them (in ‘00-‘01, we did in ‘01-‘02).

I want a guy who will split a VCU double team and create a 3 on 2 fast break.

VCU is on the list of those recruiting him hardest. Just what they need- a quick guy who can shoot.

I've always wanted a super quick, super athletic point guard like him but it feels like a really hard fit with Foster on the roster. We would need to add another guard who could play the 2 and atm we only have 1 scholarship open.

Carson McCorkle graduated from Greensboro Day School. We have never signed a player from there despite the many connections between that school and Davidson.

I understand the focus on transfers. But given that every team seems focused on transfers, I wonder if there’s a strategic advantage to look at late-blooming HS seniors. They’re probably being overlooked.

Do such creatures exist? We already draw in the net to try to catch: 1) academically gifted students who: 2) fit into the TCC team philosophy. Looking for senior late bloomers would be trying to find a segment of a subset. I doubt that many are out there to be found in today's modern HS game when combined with the incredibly dense and prolific recruitment networks that exist in our modern information age.

The NBA Academy has been good to us.

Let's hope it continues that way.

We’ve apparently taken a look at Brigham Rogers, a ‘23 6’ 9” forward from Georgia.

Matt: "Coach, that's BDF."
Bob: "What?! There's two of them!?"
