With that, time for an update.

The Kool-Aid list reflects publicly available sources, typically internet recruiting or social media sites (e.g., Rivals.com, Verbalcommits.com, Twitter, etc.), and published reports. The list is maintained for entertainment purposes only. It contains no information received from coaches or recruits. It should be updated approximately every five pages.

Looks like we're interested in two-sport star Breon Pass who recently chose to play basketball in college: https://twitter.com/DavidsonMBBRecr/sta ... 5480186881
Breon Pass has announced his Top 4. As expected, Davidson is not included.

Excited about Chris Ford, but nervous we have been too patient during Covid. If we land Lucas Taylor I will be ecstatic, and I know there are other names rumbling out there, but we will be losing a Davidson all-timer and a double digit scoring expected starter this year, and this recruiting class is important. Hopefully we see some definitive action and offers of kids we love soon. I have faith in our staff as always, and I think we have a great core of underclassmen ready to take over in the future, but this summer has been very different on the recruiting front than usual and I hope I am just missing our staff's greater plan.

TCC.

Davidson beat the Gauchos at the Charlotte Coliseum in '75-'76, avenging a loss in Santa Barbara over Christmas break in '74-'75.

I spoke to him at South Park mall last winter as I attend the same church as his host family.

Will accept divine intervention, assuming that isn't a recruiting violation.

Do you worship at the altar of Chick-Fil-a in the food court at the mall?

8-) . Lots of folks go to the food court after services. I think I said “weren’t you at the Davidson game the other night sitting with Andrew?”

On page 333 of this thread there are two mentions of a Top 100 2021 player named Jahmai Mashack. I'm not sure I've heard any discussion of his recruitment since then, and don't think we were really "in" on him. But it seems like our staff did their homework and communicated with him well, enough for him to mention Coach McKillop in an interview once upon a time.

Jahmai Mashack committed to Tennessee today. (Link: https://247sports.com/Player/Jahmai-Mashack-46082372)

Sounds like Mashack is one of the better defenders in this 2021 class, a fine young man and good student, in addition to being a talented basketball player. Seems like he was set on playing P5 basketball as almost all of his offers were from SEC, Big 12, and Pac-12 schools. If that's the case, and our coaches liked him, I guess it's no coincidence he'll end up playing for Coach Barnes.

Taine Murray publicly announced his top 3 of Virginia, Maryland and Stanford.
Yeah, he wasn't on our list anyway.
This guy, who wasn’t on our list, committed to UVA.
