The 5 to play 4 is a calendar clock assuming you don't apply for a redshirt year.

I don't know, and don't need to know, any of the particulars of his situation, but is it possible Luke could still have 3 years of eligibility?

He most likely would have 2 years left. Possibly a 3rd year with a medical redshirt, but guessing he played in too many games for that. Also, depending on his academic standing when and if he decides to come back could also determine his eligibility left (or if in fact he's eligible to play right away anyways). There are way too many variables to even guess the possibilities. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter. I care that Luke is healthy. I care that Luke is happy. If he can achieve those two things and in a Davidson uniform then I'm overjoyed.

I would think 3 yes, as Luke only played in 5 games this season.

I believe that this is right. I recently read an article about Jordan Bohannon, an Iowa player who is currently playing through injury, which strongly implied that the cutoff for the amount of games one can play in a season and still get a redshirt/waiver is 10.

Seems like he enjoys getting to & finishing at the rim. Also some nice movement off the ball and confident decision making. Can see why the coaches think he'll be a great fit in our offense.

They play guys in 5 minute spurts and there's a running clock so its pretty easy to skip through. Sam doesn't shoot well in this game, but he clearly has a ton of athleticism and a very, very advanced skillset. He's a guy who needs in-game experience and could benefit from college coaching, but we have plenty of reason to be excited about him.

Sam doesn't shoot well in this game, but he clearly has a ton of athleticism and a very, very advanced skillset. He's a guy who needs in-game experience and could benefit from college coaching, but we have plenty of reason to be excited about him.

He is going to be very good but if nothing else, his 6’8 225lb frame will do wonders. When was the last time we had a true, bruising power forward?

I see Lanier as having more potential as a PG than Huffman—at least as a JRich-style PG. Huffman reminds me of JAG (with –shooting ability and +passing ability) or TK (with ––shooting ability but maybe +ballhandling ability). Maybe Droney is a good comp?

Both Lanier and Huffman look to be tough, smart, and hardworking. And great leaders/teammates.

I've seen Hoffman twice. He is more athletic than JAG and T$, but I think he has to be a little more selfish.
