Something that was brought to my attention: Emory Lanier plays on a national powerhouse AAU team. Also, according to 24/7, we have the 41st best recruiting class nationally.

Sam is #7 in black in the second game (starting around 7:00 into the video). Some really great skill from him on a number of plays. He can really shoot it too. Fast forward to 8:10 for an extra-strength shot of kool aid.

Mentions that he plans to come to school next semester, but won't play until next season. Seems smart, and with a semester and offseason of practice under his belt he has a chance to be a beast right away. Also, unlike DK who turned 21 in August, Mennenga is still 17, and per the video only started focusing on basketball three years ago.

The earlier he is on campus, the better. Will he technically redshirt the spring semester?
