Talked about earlier in the thread, but yes, mom was the lacrosse coach. Dad was VP - Marketing for Hornets, etc.wildcatadrian wrote:I think we are in the hunt with Rip Economou. He grew up with Davidson basketball. (Mother was a Davidson coach) Field hockey?

random feeling; we aren't pursuing transfers all that hard (we seemingly didn't go all in for Reuter and neither did other successful A10 programs) because we have an eye on a late commit or international (international prospects seem to be committing now as Cuse pulled one in last week and JAG committed around this time last year). Hope I'm right; but this is just a gut feeling.

JAG committed in the winter, but waited until officially being admitted to the school and signing his LOI before it was announced. I wouldn't get your hopes up about 2017, 2018 appears to be the focus now. We pursued Michael Jacobson pretty hard, but it has to be the right player, no sense adding a transfer for the sake of adding one.BDL wrote:random feeling; we aren't pursuing transfers all that hard (we seemingly didn't go all in for Reuter and neither did other successful A10 programs) because we have an eye on a late commit or international (international prospects seem to be committing now as Cuse pulled one in last week and JAG committed around this time last year). EDIT: just going to add that a late coaching change and players getting released from their LOI's is something that could change this. Still would look ahead.

Bob in the huddle during timeout: "Don't listen to BDL!"
Matt: "Coach, that's BDF."
Bob: "What?! There's two of them!?"

That's exactly who I was thinking of, yes, but I try to avoid speculating about players on other team, especially when they haven't made a decision to leaveBDF wrote:Like Micah Potter?CatsUpNorth wrote:[

on the off chance anything happens with him it will likely occur soon as the buckeyes have hired their coach (great hire by the way).CatsUpNorth wrote:That's exactly who I was thinking of, yes, but I try to avoid speculating about players on other team, especially when they haven't made a decision to leaveBDF wrote:Like Micah Potter?CatsUpNorth wrote:[
