The game was on the day after Christmas. I remember that my football player roommate was grumpy about having to spend Christmas day in Orlando. I don't remember if we drove down there on Christmas day or maybe just in time for the game on the 26th. We converged in South Georgia and went the rest of the way one car. To The best of my recollection, beer was involved.

The Tangerine Bowl is correct. I assume you were watching because of Toledo. I did not remember that the game was televised.
Nah, I was at a party looking for girls and it was on tv. No girls so I watched the game. High scoring, Davidson was fun to watch.
After a basketball game? We stopped at a bar/restaurant on the way home from a basketball game at either Dover or New Philadelphia, Oh. Jim Ellison who went to my high school and played both football and basketball was a sophomore on the Cats team that year. I don't remember stopping to eat after the game any other time, but we did that night. We must have played well. The Tangerine Bowl was on TV. Because of Ellison our whole team and coaches were cheering for the Cats.

You can't make this stuff up.
Stupid, but well-played. Guy got exactly what he wanted.

Did Turry mention coeducational during recruiting visits?

The Clippers traded, on purpose, for James Harden. Today he played 29 minutes. His +/- was -28. Team lost by 4. Stop playing him! He's poison.

I wonder what the +/- is when Harden and Westbrook are on the floor together.

There is no limit. Chattanooga was killing Evansville by 20 with about 12 minutes to play. Evansville rallied to just 6 down. Hit a 3, got a stop, got fouled. Evansville to the line, down 3 with 1:01 left. No Aces on the lane. Player misses, ball bounces to a Moc, nobody moved, Moc catches it and flicks it toward the ref. 2 awake Aces sprint in as the ball goes out of bounds. It wasn't a 2-shot foul. It was 1-and-1. So Evansville gets it back. Makes the tying 3. Runs away with it in the overtime. Maybe the Mocs would have still lost, but everyone forgetting that it was a 1-and-1 was shocking.

Dolphins and Colonials (RMU) mix it up. All but five players from each team ejected.

That worked out great for Chris Ford. He was in the game at the time, so he got to be one of Robert Morris' final five. They lost, but at least he got to finish the game.

Agreed

Man he has paid a lot of guys not to coach, although it doesn't appear that much coaching was done when they were still in the building. I thought Matt Ruhl's tenure was bad, it go worse.

At least i now have Sunday afternoon's free.
