Have to believe that ESPN would bear some responsibility for conducting at least a minimal review of a team's qualifications before airing such a mismatch. "They lied to us," seems insufficient justification.

A lot of blame to go around, but ESPN were supposed to be the professionals. I can’t imagine this did IMG any good, really, either.

The name Bishop Sycamore should have made someone do an internet search before this game was put on ESPN's schedule. It sounds as if someone said, "Let's invent very common name for a school in the Midwest with two names. The most common first name for a school is Bishop. The most common street name in the Midwest is Sycamore. Why not Bishop Sycamore?"
Bishops aren't like Popes, who "invent" names when their invested, or whatever. Bishops use their last name, Bishop England and Bishop McGuiness, e.g. Does anyone have Sycamore as a last name?
