TJ Power, a sophomore from Virginia, is in the transfer portal. As a former top-30 recruit, he has not done much at the college level. Almost certainly heading to a mid-major, Power is a great shooter, and I wouldn't be surprised to see the Cats go after him.

Davidson has reportedly reached out to Sam Brown, a 6’3” transfer from Penn. Brown was named All-Ivy League Second Team.

Brown averaged 13.9 PPG this season, including 19.3 PPG(43% from three) in conference play.

Brown could fill multiple needs for the Cats. His sharpshooting combined with ball handling ability, athleticism, and playmaking would make him a very exciting fit for the Wildcats.

I really like the previous two highlighted portal guys. Elon’s Dorn is an excellent three point shooter, with great size and athletic genes. Regarding Sam Brown from Penn, if he’s quick, and can breakdown a defense with drives, then I’m interested. He appears to be an excellent all-around player. TJ Power, however, seems like an enigma. Hope he finds a place to resurrect his game and thrive. Maybe Davidson would be three times the charm. 🍀

I have a faint recollection we recruited Sam Brown when he was in high school.

He's from Lower Merion HS in Pennsylvania. He's not the best Lower Merion grad in hoops history, but that's no insult.

Sam Brown is Brett Brown’s son. Former Sixers coach and a good one. He won dozens of games when he was supposed to lose them all.

How does that work? Do you get your new school to pay off your debt to the Naval Academy? Part of the NIL deal?

Davidson interest in 6’4 CG, Jake Davis, West Valley College.

West Valley College is a JUCO, so I believe he would have 4 years of eligibility with the new rules.

I recall hearing that if you leave the academy before the end of your second year, you don’t incur debt or an obligation to serve

I like 6'8 guys who played in the Cincinnati Catholic league.
