Question for the wizards: when was the last time we redshirted someone who was available to play? (Not hurt, on campus).

Just watched the Davidson v West Virginia game in MSG, and listened to them rave about Ben Allison, and mentioned that he had red-shirted as a freshman the previous year. Didn't mention why, and I don't recall.

Just watched the Davidson v West Virginia game in MSG, and listened to them rave about Ben Allison, and mentioned that he had red-shirted as a freshman the previous year. Didn't mention why, and I don't recall.

His book begins with experience of being below the arena before that game.

Ben's freshman year at Davidson was '07-'08. Davidson's roster included Sander, Meno, Lovedale, Archambeau, Rossiter, and Nelms. We usually played 3 guards, so the front court minutes were divided among those 6 players.
