Fun game between UNC and Duke. Andrew Platek played a few seconds and picked up a foul. Probably enjoyable to be on the bench for a big win, but, I expect his old running mate will have more fun actually playing against URI tomorrow.

Are we cornering the market on Lutheran hoopsters? This year's team has JAG, Oscar, and Will. One recruit is from Sweden and another is from Minnesota, so we're possibly replacing the 2 who are graduating.

Past Lutherans Wildcat hoopsters include Jouni Eho and Chris Cz, maybe. Jouni is a Lutheran minister.

If Chis Cz is, David should be, too.

Other Lutheran athletes include Troy Aikman and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. The only Lutheran D1 schools are Valparaiso and Wagner.

There are 5 Presbyterian D1 schools: Davidson, Princeton, Presbyterian, Lafayette, and Tulsa, so we have to share Presbyterians with more competition.

30 has become a popular number.

Literally salivating.... the hops on that kid! He's a true small forward though and we still need at least 1 stretch 4 and 1 center. Hopefully we get all three.

Also the kid has a 3.7 gpa and interest from Boise State and Nevada.

Is Ekwu certainly coming back? It would be great if he did obviously but I didnt think we had a firm answer yet.

Im torn in wanting to get as many kids as possible every year to play for the team and wanting to avoid getting on another cycle where well have one year that we lose 6 scholarship players at once.

One advantage to bringing in a JUCO is that he won't be staying 4 years and will break up the 6 member class.

To those who want Nate to return next year: Is there any assurance he will be healthier next year? His issues are chronic.

If Nate doesn’t come back, Luke makes the six member class a seven member class, right? Also presuming Bates doesn’t get one of the open scholies.

I don’t know re Nate but given lack of depth upfront next year I’d rather RS him if he feels he can play again. He must have hurt himself in that UNC Kansas span last year.
If we get Luka
4/5 - Luka, Dusan, Nate, NBY
3 - MJ, Luke F, Kishawn
2 - KG, DC
1- Jax, Carter

That is very respectable and does not factor in any other recruits or transfer. I still think we could use an athlete junkyard dog rebounder. We need some muscle - which is supposed to be Nate’s role

I'm a little worried about Luka. We haven't heard about him in forever and usually if something was up we'd get like breadcrumbs from this board. That being said, I would love to get this townsell kid, he looks very athletic and we always can use more athleticism.
