Sometimes you say a thing that is true and it still comes back to bite you. And you shouldn't have said it.
We saw it when Archie Miller called Jack a "flopping motherf#cker." Jack did his share of flopping. But you can't call him that. So he beat you, sending your 1 seed team home early.
We saw it when a political candidate turned a sure win into a loss by calling the other candidate's supporters "deplorables." Even if you believe it, you just can't say it.
Dabo thought that a team that only played six games shouldn't be praised. Probably didn't even think they should be eligible for the playoffs. Shouldn't have mentioned it until after the game was over.
