Azerbaijan basketballs poorly. Manie was winning for quite a while. Early 3 and an early rim run for a dunk.

I watched a few minutes of the third quarter and saw him hit two threes and get a couple (maybe more) steals for dunks (one much better than the other). He looked good.

This was his ending line. 97-51 GBR win. I don’t think Manie played much (if any) in the 4th.

Great Britain plays again today vs Netherlands at 1:30 eastern. Max Pikaar, incoming freshman for SLU, is playing for the Dutch. I will post link to watch when it is active.

Speaking of the Billikens, apparently the new coach is trying to make his presence known locally. They just made offers to 4 HS freshman, all from St. Louis. If he can get one or two a year of the best in town he’ll be in pretty good shape.

There's only two things I hate in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures and the Dutch.

Great Britain back in action against Portugal today at 11 AM eastern. Big game for qualification. Portugal narrowly lost to the Dutch, so, will be a tough game. You can watch here:

Does anyone know how many teams advance from the group stage? If its just the top two, then this feels like potentially a must win for Great Britain.

Great Britain falls to Portugal 90-79 to finish group play 2-2. They are likely finished in the tournament.

Manie finished the game with 16 pts (7/13, 2/4 from 3), 0/2 FTs, 2 boards, 1 to, 2 steals.

Showed a lot of ability. A lot to be excited about for wildcat fans.

Lots of raw ability. With some basic coaching he will play this year and be a very good starter for us in future seasons. If someone can light a fire under him and get him to play with 100% effort, he could be an all conference player before he’s done at Davidson.
