I appreciate one end of year standardized assessment that helps me reflect on my practice. I can look at the results and think about what I did well and not as well. I assess my students all the time at the teacher-level- it helps me to figure out what students know and don't know so I can adjust my teaching accordingly. Sometimes, my students are learning while they are being assessed. It's not just sitting and bubbling.
