Davidson is losing players who played 2,610 of the total 6,500 minutes played this past season. Here’s the breakdown by player:

- Huffman: 1,088 minutes (34.0 mpg)
- Brizzi: 592 (18.5)
- Skogman 424 minutes in 17 games, which would have been 798 across 32 games at the same mpg (24.9)
- Spadone: 323 (10.4)
- Moss: 104 (6.1)
- Schulte: 79 (6.1)

I’d bet Laput and Hurlburt are hoping/expecting to get about 800–900 minutes each (Davidson’s starting guards generally get more minutes than starting bigs, but Huffman played a lot even for a guard). Assuming returning players earn at least the number of minutes they played last season, that leaves about 800–1,000 minutes for everyone else: returning players, first-year recruits, and any additional transfers or first-year players.

You expect those two to start?

I expect that they expect to start or play starters’ minutes. Like Brizzi and Moss did.

You think Moss expected to start or play starter's minutes?

I hope they both start. I hope that all of our new guys start and play 30 mpg. That would mean that they are better than our returners. But that isn't what I expect. I expect Kochera and Bailey to lead us in mpg. I expect Logan to start and Adam to get many minutes off the bench.

If 5/15 and Laput wind up being good enough guards to start for us and move Durkin back to the bench that would be a very exciting/good transfer portal for us.

Holy crap. My bad. Totally forgot about Bobby Durkin. I also expect Durkin to start and rival Kochera and Bailey for mpg. Gotta see Laput live to believe it. The video I've seen wasn't impressive.

Just based on who I saw play last year: Even though Kochera excels off the ball.
Kochera
Adam
Durkin
Bailey
Logan

No way Connor plays the point.

Of our returners, the most likely PG is Ricky.

Interesting. You must have seen him in practices. I don’t recall seeing him enough in games to have a hint of where you are coming from.
