He’s a walk-on, so maybe those are different rules. And I didn’t hear details of the process. Maybe it was informal enough not to be characterized as I did. Maybe there was an inquiry to a staff member here, “Hey, Matt [whichever], do you think your walk-on might want to be a scholarship player somewhere?” IDK. I just pass along what I hear that I don’t perceive to be inside info.

I also don’t pass along what I perceive to be junk rumors, but I’ll give an example: The Atlantic 10 required Davidson to do the seat licenses and raise FBC fees. I have no reason to think that is literally true, but just a distortion of the reality of competition.
