Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread
Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread
If we added Parker, that means we would have 3 6'3"/6'4" guards beginning play at the same time. There may not be enough playing time for 3 guards that size given we have Grant and Des in the program, too.

Yes. It seems the addition of Angelo seems to have filled that particular roster need. Definitely would be crowded with PF too.
Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread
If PF wanted to come to DC we would welcome him with open arms, at least I would. Huffman only has one year left. It would not be too crowded for PF. I think he wants the NLI that we can't give him. Going to ND still seems like a fairly likely prospect from what Brey said.

Help is on the way. On the bench, to be precise.

Looks like he has good springs and can knock down shots. We can use those two skill sets.

And a friend who had been to practices told me tonight that Angelo would be a starter now if he could play.

Elijah Strong from Myers Park High School in Charlotte decommitted from Wofford. Has had an impressive HS career and played AAU with Team Curry. Strong, skilled 6’8” post player who can also hit jump shots. Has interest from other A10 schools including Loyola and Richmond.
If DC is going to use its last scholarship, I could see it going to a possible Mennenga successor. Strong might be a nice candidate.

My guess is that will use the last scholarship.

Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread
On my graduation day, Lester Strong was moving into my room as I moved out. Of course I had more stuff to get together. My father came up to 4th Belk with me to help carry stuff. Lester was hanging around until I got out of his way. So the two of them had a nice time to visit. My father was not annoyed that I had more to do. Mother may have been less patient.
He of course became their favorite player. Mother enjoyed seeing him on WBTV when he worked there, normally behind the camera, but I think Betty Feezor in particular would have him on.
