Is there a separate thread for transfers? I am shocked we haven't been linked to more players. W&M has two real good ones for us. Some P5s too. I think it would really help our team to target not just a kid like LEE who could develop over next two yrs. but two transfers, a guard and a forward. Then if we can get Dallion and Justice. Thats a really solid team. Kellan needs to have an outstanding JR yr to leave early, otherwise I think he stays 4 years to get as much finish as possible - one reason Steph left early was because of his ankle and the team around him going into senior year was relatively thin. If we could build a good team (which we have) with some transfers to be contributors by his senior year. I think he stays. wed be a deep tournament team, playing in maui '20. lot of showcase going into NBA draft.

Because our 2019 and prospective 2020 class is so jacked, not sure we are going after a pile of transfers who would have to sit out a year.

Who do we have in those classes? I see only obne guy from Denmark who weighs 180 pounds. I hope those classes are jacked, but there is no evidence of it available to most of us.

Believe he’s referring to the senior classes and those currently enrolled, meaning we would want immediate help rather than waiting a year. Wouldn’t be mad at a transfer but agree with the logic

I take all of these measurements with a grain of salt since they seem to vary wildly, but ive already had the 180 question with a couple of other people. The announcement on the davidson website lists him as 6'10, 210 lbs. https://davidsonwildcats.com/news/2018/ ... eason.aspx

I know there are some understandable concerns about Lee defensively due to his weight, but if you watch some of the FIBA games from last summer, his defense is really impressive. He can probably get bodied up by bigger guys at the moment, but off the ball he is extremely quick into passing lanes and has really active hands. Considering how he could be an off the ball weapon on offense and rep as a shooter, I'm really excited about what he can bring, and think he and MJ's presence both can bring our offense up to another level with their shooting and cutting.

No concerns ideally he’s the type of player at a P5 program who sits a year gets stronger and then is a contributor. Sometimes we need to embrace/ think could really help with layering depth over a 4-5year basis

If a UNC guard is going to transfer, it should be Andrew Platek, who went to HS with Kellan Grady and who Davidson recruited. He barely plays at UNC and will barely pay going forward. He woulD get ample playing time at Davidson.

He only has one year of eligibility left. I wouldn't spend two years of scholarship to get one year of play. And it isn't likely that he'd be accepted as a transfer student. Possible, just not likely.
