It is so ubiquitous, it seems impossible to enforce even if it is technically a violation. If you look at the twitter handles for any one of the 44 open offers VCU has out (per verbal commits), you will see countless encouragement posts from VCU fans reflecting how genuine the interest is from the school (notwithstanding the carpet bombing of offers--17 PGs alone!).

Trust me, the guys he is staying with will treat him to a much more fun time than I could conjure up. I’m very boring, all I do nowadays is study for the LSAT and post here.
