A number of the athletic facts were incorrect. There are also a number of CAA official emails and documents to show that Davidson was never officially asked to join the CAA. Some things along those lines. To the point that CAA member schools were upset that they lost the opportunity to ask Davidson to join as they committed to the A10.

I could nitpick through different things, but the premise of the article was correct.
