That’s a cute slogan for SMU’s giving day. This year besides the usual challenge funds and such, a big part of the appeal is to get ready for the ACC.

Having chosen at a couple of junctures not to attend an ACC school, I will have some mental readjustment next season.

I didn’t direct my small gift to the athletic program, though. With the seat licenses and FBC increases especially, way too much of my Davidson giving goes to toward athletics, but I don’t really know what I want to do about that. Where one’s heart is, there will be one’s treasure also, and vice versa. At some point where one’s head is needs to come into the picture.
