Steph update
Re: Steph update
Just looked at the story and box. Lakers had a 96.7% win probability early in the 4th. Amazing rally on a night where Steph was off on deep shots, just 3-12.

Re: Steph update
Steph hit a step back 3 over AD with a minute left to put the Warriors up 115-110.

Wow. I watched the first period before turning it off. Thought they had no chance.

What an incredibly quick release!
"We were in the center ring the whole night,'' longtime Davidson coach Bob McKillop said. ''We were not on the ropes. We were not on the mat. We were in the center ring slugging away, and we just ran out of time.''
Re: Steph update
26 pts, 11 rebounds, 7 assists through 3 quarters tonight.

Such a splendid and detailed analysis of Steph's movement without the ball. A fascinating read. Thank you, WFTC.wildforthecats wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 7:14 pmhttps://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/307 ... rs-rebuild

Uh, Draymond. How about just not cursing where the ref can hear it? He's a pivotal player for the Warriors. 8 assists before he got sent to the showers. He'd be better with some additional personal discipline.

Dead horse. We all know it. Draymond knows it. He just can’t help channeling his “ inner Rasheed”.
Re: Steph update
It would be better if those around him didn't blame the official. Did the official think Draymond was yelling profanity at him? Yep. Would the official have ejected Draymond if there were no profanity? Nope. But the public comments from the Warriors don't suggest that Draymond did anything wrong. I hope the private comments are more helpful. And it would all be moot if Draymond hadn't earned a first technical earlier in the game.

Re: Steph update
I am most worried about James Wiseman in this whole situation. He's got all the goods to be an NBA All-Star. But man it's gotta suck to have a teammate yelling at you in the middle of a play like that, especially at 19 years old when you've been thrown into the NBA after 3 competitive games above HS level. Gotta take a toll on him mentally. I get that Draymond is trying to help him get that NBA toughness, but I feel like there are better ways to do it than yelling profanities while you're supposed to be getting back on defense.
You can tell by Wiseman's body language at times that he's struggling with the expectations and with his confidence. I don't think yelling is a cure for either of those things, in fact it's probably the opposite. I guess he's lucky to also have Kerr and Steph around, they will challenge him to be great without being a**holes about it.

Passed Reggie Miller last night. 411 short of Ray Allen.

Steph sure loves punishing the Timberwolves. So did Wiggins.
