https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/338 ... r-playoffs

I watched a good bit of Game 3. I was intently watching the end to see if the Warriors subs could finish the game at >60% overall, >50% on 3s, >90% at the line. They did.

I saw the play where Morant hurt his knee. Blaming it on Poole is ridiculous. Seeing it live, it looked like the knee was unstable/painful before Poole touched it. Perhaps Poole has studied with Mr. Spock and has learned the Vulcan nerve pinch. Or perhaps he learned the Shaolin pain touch from Kwai Chang Caine. Short of one of those skills, there is zero chance that his light touch disabled Morant.

Agree. There is 0.000% chance that Poole caused Morant a bone bruise by grabbing at his knee. Ja banged knees with Klay on a close out defending a 3P shot a little earlier in the game. That is likely when the bruise occurred. The double team forced him to stress the knee and may have caused the pain to worsen. The Memphis team doctor needs to educate their coach to stop the nonsense accusing Poole. Ja already knows. That's why he deleted the tweet.

Grizz are rolling at home. Scored 77 in the first half.

Dubs are getting absolutely punked. About to get doubled up. Grizz can't miss.

Weird team stats. The Dubs turned it over 17 times to the Griz’ 6. They looked sloppy much of the game. But they outrebounded Memphis 70-45. That many extra chances made up for the giveaways. I don’t think of Golden State as a great rebounding team, but for one night they were (Looney had 22- including 11 offensive).

The Warriors out-rebounded Memphis 70-44! 70 is the most REBs by any NBA team in 2021-22 regular or post season. Looney with 22, Draymond 15, Wiggins 11, Klay 8, and Steph 7.

Offensive rebounds: Looney 11 and Wiggins 6. The Grizzlies had 10 total OREBs.

Looney played 35 minutes. He averages 21. He was exhausted in the 4th quarter. Draymond and Steph went to the coaches Thursday and told them they wanted Looney to start the game and play the big minutes with them. Looney was game MVP by a big margin ... rebounding and defending the rim. Klay runner-up with his best post season game this year.

Rebounds won the game for the Warriors. Memphis led the NBA in rebounding in the regular season.

Wiiggins made critical baskets to keep the Warriors in the game early 4th quarter.

Steph kinda sealed the deal down the stretch. Money.

It was a better game to watch, obviously, than the previous one. Still, NBA basketball is a tough view for me. The game has become so one-dimensional. Were Steph not playing I wouldn't give it a moment's notice.

Warriors will have home court advantage in the WC Finals and NBA Finals if they get there.

Comfortable Game 1 win. I tuned in after the Hurricanes won in OT. There is still 7:15 left, but the Warriors are up 72-98. Steph has 21 points, 12 rebounds, and no reason to play the fourth quarter.

Steph's 21/12/4 led all players in the points/REBs/assists categories last night. First time he's done that in his playoff career. He was tied with 4 other players who led with 4 assists.

Wiggins is quietly becoming the 2nd or 3rd best player on the Warriors. He has superstar talent and physical gifts and may elevate his game to that level.

Looney is playing the best games of his career now.
