Really.

I guess some may have missed this statement:
There's plenty of time for rest after he misses a couple of shots and the hot streak ends.

Steph with another double-double in last night's win over Sacramento: 27 points, 10 assists, 7 rebounds. Steph's brother-in-law has been playing great, too. Warriors are now 3-0.
"We were in the center ring the whole night,'' longtime Davidson coach Bob McKillop said. ''We were not on the ropes. We were not on the mat. We were in the center ring slugging away, and we just ran out of time.''

In a Warriors win against the Hawks, Steph had 50 points (14–28 FGs, 9–19 3s, and 13–13 FTs), 7 rebounds, and 10 assists (to 2 turnovers). Oldest player ever to get 50 points and 10 assists. Tenth 50-point game; fourth such game at age 32+, second behind Jordan’s five.

Oldest...
How can my baby-faced assassin be oldest in anything? Could that possibly mean that I'm... Nevermind.

He's on a tear right now. Looks like he's playing at the peak of his powers. I hope the knee thing he's wearing is no big deal.

Shooting percentages so far this year are well below his career averages for FGs and 3 pt shots. When those improve to his standards we're likely to see more frequent superstar+ performances. FT% not too bad at 98%! Rebounds up at 6.6 pg with career average at 4.6. Assists and TOs at his career averages. Blocked shots at career high of 0.7 pg. His 6'11" buddy Durant is also averaging 0.7 blk/game.

Steph putting on a show for the Wildcats, 9 threes, 40 points. Warriors blowing out the Bulls. Two McKillop sightings and some nice words from Mark Jackson.
"We were in the center ring the whole night,'' longtime Davidson coach Bob McKillop said. ''We were not on the ropes. We were not on the mat. We were in the center ring slugging away, and we just ran out of time.''

Steph passed Ray Allen for most 3s (regular season plus playoffs) in this game. He’ll get the regular season mark pretty soon. He already has the playoff record.

Warriors 63, Nets 58 at halftime. Steph 5-8 from 3, 19 points. Harden is 0-4 from 3, but still managed 14 points, including 8-8 from the foul line. The Nets 3-deep bench has contributed a total of 25 minutes. Fatigue may become a factor.

Dang! Wiggins just blocked Harden's shot and didn't get called for a foul. Warriors with 6 quick points to start the 2nd half, now up 69-58.

Nets fans are begging Steph to shoot. He leaves with 37 points in 29 minutes. As he leaves, he has 8 rebounds. No other player for either team has more than 6.
