That was my reaction, too.

Re: Steph update
Doesn't say much about the leadership of the players association that they couldn't agree to being vaccinated. Very disappointing
Re: Steph update
So...everyone from the coaching staff to the water and towel providers, to the trainers, to the sweat sweepers will be required to have a vaccination, but the players will not...? I have always considered the NBA an equal opportunity, everyman's organization. Funny how injecting enough money into any such group can create elitist tendencies.
Re: Steph update
The nba collective bargaining agreement is the source of the rule that prevents players from entering the league until at least one year after their class finishes high school.
The mlb players union was indecisive about performance enhancing drugs so guys like Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens and Mark McGuire (sp?) avoided testing for years. That indecision led some to try steroids, etc in order to not be at a disadvantage.

How much of a proposition wager should I place that Kyrie "Flat-Earth, Dookie" Irving is one of those player vaccine holdouts?

Most, if not all, NBA franchises have far > 100 employees.

Apparently ~80% of players are already vaccinated. Maybe they just don't like vaccine mandates as a matter of principle. A significant percentage of Americans would agree with that principle.

"We were in the center ring the whole night,'' longtime Davidson coach Bob McKillop said. ''We were not on the ropes. We were not on the mat. We were in the center ring slugging away, and we just ran out of time.''

Maybe NBA players listened to this guy when they voted against mandates. He's more articulate than most graduates of any school although he was at Florida State for only one year. He also states he was misrepresented in the Rolling Stone article ... is that even possible? Libs are still after him because he wouldn't kneel for the National Anthem or wear a Black Lives Matter tee shirt ... and first on their list of course: He's an outspoken Christian. They'll always be after him, but I suspect he'll keep answering all questions and he'll be OK.

I’m getting a booster today, even though the NCAA already says that I am one.
