Kuminga leading all scorers tonight in the Grizz game. 20 points in limited minutes is making a good argument for an increased role in the Dubs rotation.Cat Forever wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 10:24 amThis writer is spot-on:

Now 23 for JK.
Re: Steph update
Warriors up 5 at halftime on the worst team in the Western Conference. On the road. Got a chance.

Kuminga 17. Was 7 for 9 FGs. It's time to play him 30 minutes per game.

Steph and Kerr on Kuminga:

Kuminga is going to be an NBA star and will be before Steph retires. He has made remarkable improvements this season.

Warriors win a road game over Dallas.
Re: Steph update
Six players in double figures...not that unusual. But nine players with 9 or more points. Good team play.
Re: Steph update
Steph with 20 points/13 assists.
Another statistical rarity (I think?): both teams scored at least 30 points every quarter.

Re: Steph update
Kuminga led Warriors with 22 points on 9 for 11 FGs and 2 for 3 on 3s. 2 steals. 3 REBs but he needs to be getting at least 6-7 REBs per game . He guarded Luka for most of the game and did well. Luka got 30 but he was 11 for 27 FGs and 2 for 10 on 3s and had 5 TOs. One Luka TO was a steal by Kuminga who took the steal for a breakaway dunk.
Kuminga played 31 minutes last night ... only Steph and Klay played more.

Haha, Dallas did a great job of defending the wrong basket last night. Free two points for the Warriors.

Supposedly under review. The refs may have screwed up.wildforthecats wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2023 6:32 amHaha, Dallas did a great job of defending the wrong basket last night. Free two points for the Warriors.

Re: Steph update
Mark Cuban is protesting the result of the game. He alleges the refs signaled a ball that went out of bounds would be in the possession of the Mavericks when play resumed. When play resumed, the ref handed the ball to a Warrior, who inbounded it to a teammate for an easy score. The Mavericks were not in position to defend because they thought it was their possession.
The odds of a successful protest are very slight.

Re: Steph update
Not only did they think it was their possession, but advanced to the front court by their timeout. That’s why all 5 guys were on the opposite end.
Even if the refs didn’t screw up the call they didn’t address the confusion.

Re: Steph update
Advancing the ball after a time-out in the NBA only applies to the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter. This screw up happened in the last two minutes of the 3rd quarter. If the Mavs were that confused they deserved to lose. I believe the ref who handed the ball to the Warriors actually was confused as to whose goal was whose or he would have signaled to the Mavs that it was the Warriors' ball to allow them to come back to the correct end of the court. Another ref had positioned himself on the wrong end of the court ... so he was confused too.
