Steph had 21 in the 4th quarter tonight, which is the most he's scored in the 4th quarter of a regular season game.

He has scored 23 in the 4th quarter of a playoff game.

Watched on NBA League Pass. Curry Flurry in the 4th qtr. Made 4 of 7 threes in the 4th. All but 2 were heavily contested. Made 1 and missed 1 of the open shots. It looked like Steph saw Klay was not making shots in the 4th and Wiggins had cooled after a hot start of the game. After Steph made a couple of shots in the 4th he took over the game and his teammates, including Klay, supported the Flurry. Looney was very good again in multiple ways after 2 early fouls in the 1st quarter ... rebounding, post defense, and screens for Steph all over the court. Wiggins was All Star caliber again as he has been all season.

Definitely looked more like himself. He is definitely a rhythm shooter so I have cringed lately when he takes a pause and resets or takes a beat before shooting. It hasn't turned out well lately when he does that.

Make the shot contested (or even impossible), and he's money. So good to see him returning to form. 16/34 (47%) from 3PT in the last 3 games.

I don't want to think about the end of Steph's career, but when I do, I wonder if his average on 3 pointers will increase as he becomes a spot up three specialist. Given the quantity of his career attempts (and makes), it is unlikely that he will be able to move the needle significantly as a lower volume catch-and-shoot type of player. Still, it is pleasant to think of him surpassing Kerr's lifetime percentage (and that of his own brother as well).

In the absence of major injury I don't think his game will change much in the next 3 to 4 years or so. I suspect he'll play to at least age 38 to go one up on his dad. He's one of the best conditioned players in the league and that won't change. He won't become a catch and shoot player.

I agree.

His dad was a catch-and-shoot instant offense guy toward the end of his career. (Actually, he was for most of his career.) If Steph wanted to go this route I bet he could play for as long as he wanted to. But it would impact his golf game.

The only signed sports card I have is a Dell Curry.

The Warriors rested Steph and Klay because they played games on consecutive nights. They played the Spurs.

They were down by 15 entering the 4th quarter. They outscored the Spurs 35-16 to win 124-120.

They also rested Wiggins and Otto Porter. Looney was very good again. The Warriors bench might be the best they've had in Steph's career although lacking the experience of the championship teams which could show up in the playoffs. Definitely the best through the 12th man. Moody was brought back from the G League for the last 2 games and he has gone 9 for 15 on 3 pt shots in the 2 games. He's going to be very good.

I hope Lee is watching his favorite player torch it tonight: https://www.espn.com/nba/boxscore/_/gameId/401360604

20 points in 13 minutes. 7-9 overall, 6-8 on threes. Not halftime yet, Warriors up 41-64.

Dang. That is some limited usage excellence: points, assists, and rebounds. Even managed three fouls in his 24 minutes. The W's plan for bring him along slowly seems to be working....
