James Harden accepted. I'd like to have a team to cheer for. Let's hope South Korea makes it to the Olympics.

Harden heard about your dilemma and sympathized

Steph eagled the last hole at the American Century Championship yesterday to finish 9th. He played the last 2 rounds with Annika Sorenstam who finished 4th. She retired from the LPGA 13 years ago at age 37. Steph said he was amazed and learned a lot from watching her play.

I guess so with shots like this: https://www.golfchannel.com/video/annik ... ampionship

Steph’s 2nd on the par 5 18th backed up and passed less than 6 inches from the hole. It stopped about 4 or 5 feet away and he dropped the eagle putt.

If you see Steph, tell him that I said the Subway commercial is weird and I still don’t trust their tuna.

Yes and yes. There is something about this type of commercial that really screams "fake" to me. I am not believing for even a second that Steph dines on Subway...and it seems so at odds with what he and Ayesha have promoted previously: meticulously crafted dishes with high health and nutrition value.

I am not a food snob; I eat a lot of junk. I just hate to see my hero hawking the same.

It is lamentable that he stands out as "odd" and "different" because he doesn't have the usual superstar affectations.

Probably even eats the brown M&Ms.

I ate at International Smoke when I was in Hawaii for the tournament. Subway would have been a better choice. Maybe I caught them on a bad day.

My Hawaii trip was great, but not a fine dining experience. The food on the cruise was OK, but not up to what I had on cruise ships before. The luau I went to was entertaining, and the food was not bad. Poi I think is for those who find the taste of grits too complex and overwhelming. Back in Oahu, I went to a Japanese restaurant which wasn’t too good. I had a bad meal at the IHOP. So even chain places can vary a lot.

Food was much better around the team hotel. I ate lunch there the day I moved into it, and got Spam, Spam, Spam, and eggs.

Christmas dinner after the Akron game was really good, and the shaved ice that afternoon was wonderful.
