The Dubs and Mavs set a record for most 3s in a game-48.

Both teams shot at least 50% from 3 (Dubs 27-54/Mavs 21-41).

My box score says Curry with 2 points (which is almost worse than 0). I didn't get to follow the game last night (thankfully, it appears). Does anyone know what the **** happened?

maybe no field goals rather than scoreless. In any case, they laid a big egg. Pitiful performance.

Steph scored 38 tonight, but the Warriors fell to the Lakers 115-113. Steph scored at least 13 in the 4th quarter, but the Warriors had no one who could stop Lebron or Austin Reaves. Reaves had a triple double and hit the winning layup for the Lakers. His wikipedia biography has been updated to include his stats from tonight's game.

Steph hit an off balance 3 from the corner over Lebron to tie the game with 8.9 seconds left.

Austin Reaves was an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma. The Warriors could have traded the pick they used for Wiseman in 2020 for a pick in the 2021 draft and selected Reaves if they had realized he was good.

I believe his 3 over Lebron from the corner (wasn't really over - it was more from the hip and around Lebron) was with 12 seconds, to get them within one. After fouling, he hit the three (basically unguarded) from well beyond the line. Subsequently, Reaves broke our hearts with 1 second left.

You’re probably right about the sequence of those 3s.

Steph was beating them like they were frogs, but needed someone to step up and stop Reaves.

I was watching by myself at one of my kids’ houses and everyone else was in bed.

It was poor D on Reaves. Easy layup

No rim protection backing up Wiggins ... blame that on the coach and GM. They have insured a mediocre team surrounding Steph by keeping an undersized and thin frontcourt roster as well as going small ball too often. Maybe they will get hot and make the play-in round. Current troubles were predictable when Wiggins and Hield shooting percentages began to return toward their career averages.

During the hot start for the Warriors this season both were shooting well over 50% from three-point range. As I stated when the hot start averages " began to return toward their career averages" from 50+% the Warriors would have trouble. If they shoot their career averages for the season and Steph continues to average 22.5 points per game ... the Warriors will be a .500 team at best which will get you no where in the Western Conference.

All good. Steph's season will end nice and early. And he has increased his lead over Harden to 829 made threes. If he wanted to be on a better team, he had opportunities to make it happen.

Steph has a nice track record for not jumping ship to a better team.

I wasn't suggesting that he leave.

The Warriors defeated the 76ers 139-105. Steph had 30 points. He was 8-8 on 3s, which ties the most in a game in his career without a miss.

The NBA record without a miss is 9-9.

He had 10 assists. He was the first player to go 8-8 on 3s with 10 assists in the same game.

If you go to ESPN's NBA page, the game is the lead story. You can see Steph's 3 pointers and some 2 pointers in 31 seconds.
