Warriors get a win.

KUMINGA!!!

Records like that don't happen by accident. Check the shots on video. Several were difficult.

Kuminga is only 21 years old and will be a superstar in a few years . He is the 2nd best Warrior now. He should be playing 35 minutes a game if Kerr ever wakes up to the fact.

Kerr and Wiggins are now the biggest obstacles to the Warriors getting better.

The Warriors are undefeated in games this season when Kuminga has played 30 minutes or more. They did lose one game when he played 29 and a fraction minutes which was rounded up to 30 minutes in the boxscore.

Impressive shots. The little fadeaways are un-defendable.

Looks a lot like Mike in these clips (uh...that's #23. not the Georgia Doc).

Close and unnecessary loss to the Kings last night, 133-134. Steph and Kuminga scored the last 19 points for the Warriors ... no help from Klay, Wiggins, or Draymond. Inexplicably, Kerr played Steph, Joseph, and Podziemski together for too many minutes. At 6'2", 6'2", and 6'4" our 6'2" guards found themselves contesting Huerter, Barnes and at times Murray who are 6'7", 6'8", and 6'8". No surprise Barnes goes for a career high 39 points against the undersized defenders. All wing shots and post shots look open when you are 6'8" and the defender is 6'2".

Sabonis killed the Warriors and didn't seem to mind attempted defense by Draymond or Looney. He tallied 18/8/13 on 8/11 FGs in 35 minutes. Draymond 5/4/11 on 0/3 FGs and 5/8 FTs in 31 minutes. What about the Warriors' best center, Jackson-Davis? He got no blocks, no contested shots, and no rebounds in his 48 minutes on the bench in a DNP- Coach's decision!

Time for Kerr to end his blind loyalty to his veterans who are past their prime years or lost (Wiggins). Time for Draymond and Wiggins to go. If Klay stays he needs to be a 6th man. Get the young guys the experience they will need to make a run with Steph in '24-'25.

Starters: Steph, Moody, Kuminga, Saric(for now. need to trade for a top line PF), Jackson-Davis.

I haven't seen an NBA game on TV since Christmas. A couple of observations from tonight's Lakers/Warriors game. Steph is a stud. Lebron belongs in LA, what an actor! Kuminga has really developed confidence, and drives with impunity. Anthony Davis is a good player, but man is he fragile.

The Warriors game was on a similar trajectory to the Cat's game earlier this evening: a sizable lead in the last 10 minutes of the game that they gave up. This one, however went to double OT, and despite plenty of heroics, and a game-high 46 points from our favorite basketball alum, the Dub's went down. Triple trouble for Davidson basketball today (or I guess that was yesterday, now?). :|

Just watched the highlights (forgot to switch over after our game). LeBron is something, isn't he? Some amazing passes in the game and comes through at crunch time. Hope he and Steph can play together on the Olympic team.

Klay Thompson trying to guard LeBron: total joke.

Boxscore strongly suggests Dubs lost game at the FT line. Lakers took 22 more free throws.

Warriors win. Steph with 37 and looked like Steph Curry. Kuminga a star with 26.

Kerr has finally awakened to playing Kuminga the time he deserves. Credit to Kerr. Better late than never. Now it's Moody's and Jackson-Davis's turn. Kuminga can be a superstar and help Steph win a championship ... probably not this year because of his lack of experience ... but possibly in another year or two!
In Kuminga's last 10 games he's averaging 31 mpg with the 2 OT game against the Lakers and 39 minutes last night. He needs to be getting 35 every game.
Last 10 games Kuminga is averaging 21/6/2 with 1 blk per game. Shooting 59% FGs and 45% from 3%. Play him 35 min per game and look for ~25/7/3.

Has Wiggins found himself? Looking like the All Star Wiggins last night. Fingers crossed ...

Wiggins looked all-around good. Klay was out of the line-up, before the trade deadline. Really love Klay's game, his unique personality, his Splash partnership with Steph. As has been noted, though, defensively, his injuries have cost him a step or three. His contract is up this year. Hope he lands with a good team in a good location, that needs an excellent spot-up shooter.

Klay is apparently asking 3 years for $130 million. Risky ask for any team and limits his trade potential. Warriors have not offered to extend yet.

BTW. So glad that it was Kuminga, not Green, that got tangled up with, and fell on Embiid's knee. Draymond was involved in the play but backed out when the big man fell. Good call; that could have been it for him for the year. Prayers for Joel.

Klay is currently tied with LeBron for 7th. Steph has widened the gap over his nearest active pursuer, James Harden.

130M for 3 years of Klay? He's not that guy.
