Fun read, albeit with a pretty glaring goof. Reminded me of bad British basketball commentary. ("Now, who has it? Number 34? Gor, he must be rubbish!")

IIRC, in ‘57 Carolina’s PG (Tommy Kearns?) lined up against Wilt for the opening tip. I don’t think he bothered to jump.

Yes. Kearns ended up being Wilt's money manager and financial advisor. Both ended up wealthy.

You can watch the entire game, including all 3 overtime periods, here. No sound.

A sloppy first half in San Francisco. Turnovers and missed layups have hurt the W's. They still.lead by 5 with 8 minutes remaining in Q2.

As of now Steph is…

43rd in career points (21,739). 2000 this season would move him to 34th.

45th in career assists (5741). 400 this season would move him to 35th.

60th in career steals (1420). 110 this season would move him to 46th.

5th in true shooting % (.6265). By far he is the top guard (closest Dave Twardzik- 10th).

13th in effective shooting %. By far the top guard (closest Kyle Korver- 21st).

In some of the funky, cumulative, stats he is…

20th in PER.

26th in Offensive Rating.

30th in Offensive Win Shares.

43rd in Total Win Shares.

4th in Offensive +/-.

12th in Total +/-.

23rd in Value Over Replacement Player.

He has played 883 career games. He won’t crack the top 250 until he plays 33 more.

For the 1st time in his career Chris Paul came off the bench tonight.

Right now the2nd unit has doubled up on the starters (bench 26 points, starters 13 points).

21804 has him 41st when you include ABA stats, 36th for NBA only.

On the career list for 3s, Klay is now 10th. https://www.basketball-reference.com/le ... areer.html
