I would love to get a 3 and 4, and Tyson and Riley would be great additions to the team and to the college. I hope that we sign 5 this year, adding a 5th who is a consistent rim-protector, a real defensive and rebounding presence. I see Riley more as a true 4.

I believe that MJ was the 3rd or 4th player to transfer after this past season, which was a relatively good season for NE. Apparently, this is the fallout from a new coach trying to reshape a program.

Interesting note: Sehic, a PF/C whom Davidson recruited pretty hard a year ago, is transferring from Vanderbilt to Tulane. A shame. Word is that Vandy never saw him as more than a back-up. I think Davidson saw him as having much more upside and as being a good fit with our style of play.

I genuinely hope that we have deserving recruits for all three available scholarships. We really need quality and depth at the 2 and 3 positions, and I believe that we need to recruit a 1 in this class as well.
