We deserve one of these wins.
Not with all the silly brain farts, bad shooting, and failures at the line in crunch time. We do way too many dumb things. And we don't shoot well enough to cover for them. And we don't get it done at the line when we absolutely have to have it.

Brizzi fouled, no call. Then he gets a steal, called for a foul.
Went begging. Just play. Especially on the road.

Re: In Game: at Richmond

Damn, we miss a lot of layups and other shots from inside 3 feet. Often, we miss so badly we don't even hit the rim.

Frustrating.

Re: In Game: at Richmond

I wonder how many points per drive the we average when Brizzi takes the ball into the paint. I suspect the efficiency number is not anywhere close to a winning level.

Grant can't do that. We have to be smarter. Inexcusable.

Re: In Game: at Richmond

For some reason, the pass to the ankles from 3 feet away isn't working.

Re: In Game: at Richmond

ESPN+ sometimes lasts as long a minute or two before crapping out. Anyone else having issues. This seems like a regular thing.

Re: In Game: at Richmond

Lost ball and fouled on hand off up high because he was standing straight up.

Bend knees. Drop butt. Use shoulder, elbow and forearm to protect ball.

Re: Lefty Driesell

I was hoping that people might want to share Lefty stories. It would be worthwhile to have an archive of them. Lefty's elevation of the Davidson basketball program is the greatest coaching job in the history of college sports. Only Coach Snyder's tenure as football coach at Kansas State seems worthy...

Re: Lefty Driesell

 In a Davidson application essay I wrote about Lefty Dreisell. He'd been gone for over 5 years. Don't remember the question but it seems certain in retrospect that it was willfully misread in order to produce that response. So the red lights were flashing and they had every chance to avoid maki...

Re: In Game: at St. Bonaventure

We need to practice catching the ball. Bending knee, presenting to the ball with a wide base, and catching the ball by looking it into both hands. Catching the ball is an underrated fundamental.

Inaccurate or lazy passes in conjunction with poor catching fundamentals is not optimal.
