Re: Up next: at VCU

Amazing patience to watch a reliever load the bases without a hit, then walk in two runs to tie the game, then give up a bases clearing double to put us in a 3 run hole. We left him in after he surrendered 5 runs and he struck out a batter to end the inning. Was there no one left in the bull pen? We...

Re: Portal

Jackson Paveletzke of Iowa State has entered the Portal. He had a great freshman year at Wofford in '22-'23. He transferred to Iowa State, but his playing time dropped. He's back in the Portal. He has 2 or 3 years of eligibility left. He's a 6'3" guard from Wisconsin. He could be our next Casey Ram...

Re: Other scores

In 1976, Alabama eliminated Carolina in a first round game, 79-64. The Heels' starting 5 included 5 future NBA players. Alabama's star in the game was big man Leon Douglas, who was the 4th choice in the 1976 NBA draft.

Douglas abused future Hornet GM Mitch Kupchak. Phil Ford had a terrible game.

They should have included clips of Kyrie Irving and Harry Giles.

Assuming any footage of Harry Giles playing exists.

Re: Other scores

Do NIL rules allow us to hire PJ Hall to demonstrate to our big men how to finish when you get the ball 4-5 away from the hoop?

Re: Portal

Several of College of Charleston's players are entering the portal because Pat Kelsey is taking the Louisville job. Ed Cooley is leaving Georgetown after 1 year. He says the rebuild will be much more difficult than he imagined. That helps explain why Rowan Brumbaugh is in the portal. Don't believe ...

Re: Newest Kool Aid recruiting thread

The last D2 transfer I remember DC aggressively pursued was Duncan Robinson. He would've worked out pretty well for us Duncan Robinson played his freshman year at D3 Williams. He finished high school and a year of prep school without Davidson noticing he’s what we scour the world trying to sign.

Re: Portal

Cade Tyson, Hunter Tyson's younger brother, is in the portal. We wanted Hunter, but he went to Clemson and is in the NBA, sort of. Cade went to Belmont. He's done well there. We have 2 scholarships tied up with Bailey and Logan. Tyson would compliment Durkin. We need to make Trent Steinour and Colt ...

Players don't enter the portal and then decide to come back.

Except for Katsock, who is a non-scholarship player.
And Elle Sutphin
