Rodney Knowles played in the NBA and the ABA.
We have very few NBA and ABA players, so anyone who played in both leagues should make the top 15.

Re: Quadruple stupidity
Wofford, UNCG, and UNCA are decent programs in communities where Davidson has alumni and fans from Davidson/Charlotte can drive easily.
If Furman still played in Memorial Auditorium, I'd include them, too.
I concur with catnhat about UNCW and CofC.

Re: Postseason
St. Louis is 14-18 with a NET of 150.
Davidson's NET is 81, but the NCAA hasn't factored in our forfeits. Probably they don't want to reward the teams we forfeited to.

Re: 24-25 Roster
Coach Hussey was being let go, too, and Hussey had recruited him to Davidson. The decision to become an Independent rather than join the Big South was an odd decision when the Southern booted us. Chris Morris (Otter) had poisoned our relations with the Southern and the Colonial, but refused to push ...

Re: Bracketology
Xavier is 16-17. They're playing at Georgia, which finished 17-16. None of the A10 teams in the NIT is hosting a game. Richmond plays at VPI. High Point is playing in some Tournament, not the NIT, and might be hosting a game. WGHP had a tease about it, but I wasn't going to watch the rest of their n...

Re: Bracketology
4 A10 teams under the new selection process isn't bad.
Wake Forest is going as well. They're playing Appalachian at home Wednesday.
Pitt declined a NIT Invitation.

Re: Bracketology
The NCAA, which runs the NIT, trashed the rule that a regular season conference champion that was not selected to the NCAA Tournament would receive a bid to the NIT. This was done to allow more bids for Power Conference teams that failed to make the NCAA Tournament. They are going to invite Power Co...

Re: Other scores
The A10 always maximizes its bids by having a good regular season champion, like Davidson '22 or Dayton '24, lose in the tournament. In 2018, the A10 worked it out to get 3 bids by having Davidson win the Tournament by beating St. Bonaventure and Rhode Island. It helps that Joe Lunardi is an alum of...

Re: up next: at Tennessee Tech
The coaches could stand nearby with a radar gun.
What's the point of having guys who can throw 80-85, but can't throw a strike or avoid hitting a batter?

Re: up next: at Tennessee Tech
We might have had trouble playing in the Central Time Zone.
Do we still have Spring Frolics? Why not set up a dunking booth where the throwers stand 60' 6" inches from a strike zone sized target and recruit anyone who hits it?

Re: Up next: at St Louis (CANCELLED)
There's a story in today's Charlotte Observer about the cancellation of the Women's Basketball season.
The good news is it confirms Elle Sutphin's return next year.
We need 15 scholarship players next year. If scholarship players are hurt, we need walkons to play the entire season.
