Maybe burning the Tam in the parking lot pregame will help?

Re: Steph update
RECORDS SET- the Celtics lead GSW 82-38 at halftime. That is the largest halftime lead in the history of the Celtics. It is also the largest halftime deficit in the history of the Warriors. Oh yeah, at one point the game was tied 21-21. On the bright side, this will be the Dubs 1st road loss after 8...

Inc. mag on Steph
Inc. has an article entitled, “How Stephen Curry Built a Billion-Dollar Business Empire”. Unfortunately it’s behind a paywall. Anybody have any insights?

Re: Checkbooks at the Prom
Years ago I sat attended a fundraiser for my HS’s booster club. I sat at the same table as the parents of Doug Pickett. Doug had just been “discovered” and signed to a long term exclusive contract to model for Polo and Polo Fragrances. One perk his mother didn’t expect- they flew Doug to NYC to fit ...

Re: In Game: at Richmond
Worst shirt I have seen (worn by my client’s boyfriend-not the actual defendant): “If sex is a pain in the ass, roll over” Worst shirt I’ve heard about- defendant in a neighboring county: “If I want your opinion I’ll take my d**k out of your mouth” No, I don’t know what they were thinking. They prob...

Ol’ Diz knew the King’s English. He also knew the Queen was English. He said so.

Re: In Game: vs. Fordham
For basketball I’ve heard him as a play by play man and as an analyst. I think I prefer him doing play by play. I suspect that will be his primary role if hired away from DC. There are a bunch of former players looking for analyst positions.

Odds are Wake won’t win it all, therefore Dorp is probably right.

Phil Koonce ‘56
Phil Koonce passed away today.
He’s in the DC HOF. He won the SoCon 100 yard dash championship twice. The 200 once and the long jump once. He received the Tommy Peters award as a senior.
He lived in Asheboro for many years. He was a positive influence in the area. He will be missed.

Re: Lefty Driesell
Lefty has more than 10 years in NC. He played and graduated from Duke. Then he coached at DC. I understand wanting to insure that honorees have sufficient contact with NC to truly deserving. But I think the requirement that they be 10 consecutive years is pretty arbitrary.
